Hi,

i'm trying to find info about vias in ground plane near where antenna is placed. I marked them on the picture. Why there are some many of them and what is the purpose of them (i guess it's some issues of impedance and blocking). Can you recommend me literature where i can read about this or give me a link about info?

I'm working on project with cc2541 with analog ic, and i'm looking information how to separate analog block properly form cc2541 antenne.

In RF a solid ground plane is important to ensure good RF performance. In this case the board is fairly small increasing the importance. Hence a solid as possible connection between the top and bottom layer is required => lots of vias.

Thank you for answer. What should bd the distance between vias. I think it should be depend on frequencies. Ter can you recommend me any book where i can find any information about vias method?

I'm not sure if this is covered in a text book since this is more how to do it in practical life. For this frequency we only place the vias in a semi random pattern, the exact distance between the vias is not that important. What is important is to have a solid connection between the ground layers.
