I opened my dev board kit for the CC2543/2544 and tried to run the demo PER test. At the screen where I select remote/master mode, pressing button 1 does nothing.
My smartRF board is Rev 1.8.1.3. My CC2543 boards are r1.1. I have done nothing with these boards but the following steps.
I am setting the two CC2543 boards up cabled directly through a 50dB pad. My intent was to run the boards with USB power. I set P11 to 2/3. Then I plug in USB to the two boards from a powered hub and slide switch P8 to 'on'. The screen shows "CC2543 PER test. Push 'Button 1' to begin". I press button 1. The screen shows "Mode? Remote ^ >>Button1' On the one that is to be remote, I press button 1 again to set up the remote mode. Nothing happens. For the one I wish to be in master mode, the joystick works to switch modes, but again, when I press button 1, nothing happens.
I figure I must be missing something really basic here.
