RF tags

i want to design system for library using RF technology. in this system whenever book is issued person will exit safely from exit, but if book is not issued still person tries to exit , it should trigger alarm.

Which tags i should use?

  • Library HF RFID systems are using the RI-I11-11xx-xx (45mm x 45mm) and RI-I02-11xx-xx (76mm x 45mm) series of Tag-It HF-I inlays. Note when you use the parametric search there are "A" and "B" versions of these inlays. The "A" versions tuned for use with paper and the "B" versions are tuned for integration into PVC. You may find that certain book covers need to use the "B" tags...just FYI.

    the choices you need to make as to which one of these are memory size needed and readability in your specific installations.

  • Thank you sir,

    i would also like to know about types of readers and development board of texas instruments which i can use

    also i want to know how to write rfid tags?

  • we have low power TRF7960AEVM you can use on the desktop to read and write the tags, and the kit comes with sample ISO15693 tags, too. The EVM also has a GUI which you can download and use to read and write the tags.

    see eStore here ==> https://estore.ti.com/TRF7960AEVM-TRF7960A-Evaluation-Module-P2683.aspx?ItemId=8114065

    Tool Folder is here ==> http://www.ti.com/tool/trf7960aevm

    this can be a reference for a check in/check out system...now then do you need longer range, too?

    most RFID enabled library developments that I have been a part of include a walk-through "gate" antenna setup and some even have return chutes. For this you will need a higher power reader and larger antenna solution.
