RF DSP

Hi all, I am new to DSP development and wanted some general advice on what current DSPs are capable of. I am currently looking to replace a number of stripline filters in a  design with a DSP programmable solution. I need to be able to program a DSP filter on the fly to work as a bandpass filter with a 10MHz - 50MHz pass band, low attenuation <10dB and a power throughput/ output of around 10dBm. Filter needs to range from 400MHz up to around 2200MHz.

My current design has a AGC loop around the filter with a final stage output of 10dBm so the power output is not critical. The overall design needs to generate a tone at a desired frequency in 0.1MHz steps if this is easier using a single DSP?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
