Hi!
We are using for a long time the chipset "MSP430+CC2520+CC2591", but we'd like to change CC2591 to CC2592 as you recommend..
So do you plan to publicate the reference design for CC2520 + CC2592?
Thanks for reply.

We have developed the network stack compatible with different radios:
- CC2420 and CC2520 at 2.4 GHz
- CC1120 and CC1200 at 869 MHz
All versions of the stack are based on MSP430F5x, so it may be problem to port the software on Cortex-M3 of CC2538.
Sorry, I was a bit unclear. What I meant was start with the CC2538+CC2592 ref design, keep the CC2592 part but replace CC2538 with CC2520. It could be that you need to adjust the network between the CC2520 and CC2592 compared to CC2538 due to the different PAs in those two chips.
Include placeholders for the topology used for CC2520+CC2591. Another option which would require slightly more components but less risk is to use 50 ohm interface, eq look at CC2520 stand alone EM, remove the last pi filter and connect this to the 50 ohm input on http://www.ti.com/tool/cc2592emk-rd
