This has been open for over a month on the RF forum alone.  The response time is too long.  Is anyone really working on this? 

How does this get resolved?

Thank you for your patience. We are working on this. We just learned that there is no existing data at the requested conditions. Presently, we are working on taking measurements and since data needs to be taken manually please allow some time to complete required tests.

Find below two plots showing the Output Voltage Noise vs Frequency (as shown on the spectrum) for RF Input power at -20dBm and -30dBm. Data sheet conditions (page 9) were used. Output voltage noise trend follows general expected behavior as a function of RF input power.

 RF Input Power=-20dBm

RF Input Power=-30dBm

Hi David,
Thank you very much for the test data. The data shows that voltage output noise increases rapidly as RF input level decreases. Is there a formula that describes the relationship between voltage output noise level and RF input level of this type of RF power detector? This information can be very useful for predicting the detector's performance.

I am glad that the data was useful.

As you observed, the part is expected to yield higher output voltage noise vs frequency as the RF input power levels decrease. I don't have the equation that embodies the relationship between output voltage noise levels and RF input power levels. Its derivation may require extensive characterization and as you can imagine due to the nature of noise, deriving a meaningful equation that captures the noise behavior is not trivial.
