Right now, I am doing some study related NFC. We can use the Transponder IC RF430FRL152H as a passive tag. We are trying to build an NFC reader which can read data from the tag.

1. Are there any IC's like RF430FRL152H that can work in this mode ??

2. Are there any transceiver IC's which we can use ??

Hi Venkata,

If you want a simple passive tag, look at our Tag-it HF-I transponders. If you do need the functionality of the FRL152(ADC, I2C, SPI, etc.), you can look at the different variations of the FRL15xH devices. Some have limited feature sets that may be appropriate for your application.

I suggest the TRF7970A transceivers. The RF430FRL152HEVM example uses this IC as the reader on the TRF7970AEVM board.

If you are going to use a board with the RF430FRL152H, I recommend the TRF7970AEVM as the RF430FRL152HEVM GUI already works with this board. If you are looking for different reader designs and the circuit schematics, please see below.
