Is there a Modulation Index specification for the TRF370417? It is not something I have been able to locate.

    The modulation index parameter is not directly relevant to the TRF370417 modulator itself. It is more relevant to the type of modulation and contingent on how the modulated signal is set-up.

    There are parameters on the modulator that can effect modulation index and EVM% performance. For zero-IF cases carrier feed-through and sideband suppression impact performance. For all cases the OIP3 linearity performance will impact performance as well. These parameters are provided in the datasheet.
