Hi
For a drone developpement we would like to transmit video, we already have done experiment with 2.4GHz which is fine for drone control but not for video over long range (tartget being 1 -2Km), At 1Km distance 2.4GHz bitrate is 250Kbps at 100mW emission (max power from law).
433Mhz would allow >2km but the <2MHz bandwith does not gives enough datarate with ASK (OOK) or FSK modulation (as it seems nobody have done QAM on 433 and similar band). If using QAM modulation (or even MASK) we could reach 4Mbps easily on these 2Mhz bandwith (on 433Mhz).
Our problem is that no solution (TI or other) seems to be available to transmit digital video over 433 / 866 / (3xx in other country ) MHz.
It was a time with analog TV were such solution were existing for indoor on 443 and similar Band (but i suspect at this time QAM was not existing).
I expect this thread to gives some insight on how would you do or existing solution to transmit video (~4Mbps) on sub gigahertz band with respect to the law of course.
