I measured higher than expected spurs on the LMX2571 output. I used the TI LMX2571 eval board with no hardware changes. I used Code Loader 4 to setup the part as shown in the screen shot below. There are spurs either side of the desired 1075 MHz output signal as show in the pic below the screen shot. For example, at +650 kHz, the spur was -42 dB. Could adjusting "FRAC_ORDER" or "Dithering" improve the spur performance? If not, what else could be done to improve the spur performance? I do not have a spectrum analyzer available at this time to investigate this in the lab. Thank you.
