TRF371125: What is the maximum demod signal bandwidth?

Part Number: TRF371125
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TRF371135

I have a demo of a 56 Mb/s signal being demodulated by a TRF371125 in a TSW6011 evaluation board.

Reading the data sheet on the TRF371125 or TRF371135, and some other user questions, it seems the max demod bandwidth is 15MHz   -  what am I missing?

( we are modulating a 150MHz bandwidth signal @ 3.3 GHz and desire to use this demod - will this work?)

Thanks

  • The demodulator has a register (LPFADJ) which is used to program the baseband filter. The maximum bandwidth can be applied when the value programmed is set to 0. Judging by Figure 39 in the TRF371125 datasheet or Figure 50 in the TRF371135 datasheet, the maximum baseband bandwidth seems to be 15 MHz.
