TSW38J84EVM: How can I reset the board to initial state

Part Number: TSW38J84EVM

Hi, I am using the TSW38J84EVM and I would like to know if there is any easy way to reset the board to its initial state when I first power it up. When the board is first powered it draws around 945mA. I would like to reset it to this state. I have tried reseting the DACs through the GUI but this has little effect.
Thanks For any help.

  • Hello Dillon,

When you reset the DACs through the GUI, are you only clicking on the "DAC RESETB Pin" in the quick start menu?
Because this will only reset the DAC itself. After you intialize the board, all the components onboard are configured and active. You can reset the LMK and the DAC through the GUI in their respective tabs, but as for the TRF3722 you will have to check all the powerdown (PWD) boxes in the GUI to bring the current back down. The only way to reset the all the components to their initial state is with a powercycle.
