I currently using FDC1004 to measure capacitance for level sensing in one of my project. FDC1004, have some limitations in measurable capacitance range (Maximum offset capacitance of 100pF using full CAPDAC adjustment). So, I would like to know whether Ti is offering any new chip to measure extended capacitance ranges than FDC1004. Any Suggestions ?.
You may want to consider FDC2214, which is based on LC resonance and can work with a very large capacitance range. The trade-off is that it does not have a built-in shield driver.

While going through FDC2214 datasheet, I found the line "For non-conductive liquid level sensing applications in the presence of interference such as human hands, the FDC1004 is recommended which has integrated active shield drivers." which means FDC2214 only for conductive liquid level sensing or just to eliminate the external interference in sensing FDC1004 is preferred ??
