Hi,
I am looking for for an IC or circuit to sense presence of Ice and water. My application is industrial grade refrigeration. I can use a temperature Sensor instead but for some reasons have to employ a metallic probes conductivity sensing. I got information from Wiki that Conductivity of water is about 0.05501 uS/cm and that of Ice is 0.0001 uS/cm. So if I can sense current between the two electrodes and give this information to the MCU will be helpful in my case.
I am not good at analog design, so if anyone can suggest some Application note which may meet my exact requirement
