FDC1004EVM: Sensing Solutions GUI v1.9.3 doesn't connect to FDC1004EVM or FDC2214EVM

Hi,

I've installed the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI v1.9.3. and want to use it with the FDC1004EVM and FDC2214EVM. On my Computer I've installed Win7 Professional SP1.

When I start the Software and plug in it doesn't recognise the Board. The device manager says that there are no drivers for the Boards installed.

Now I've tried it with a Win 10 pc and the same Problem occured.

Hi Florian,

Apologies you are facing this issue. Would you be able to go into Device Manager ( Windows 10 -> Right click Computer -> Manage) and check under the COM ports section whether you see "EVM" when the board is connected to the PC?

If not, then you may need to manually force the Device Manager to look for a driver for the connected device in the GUI installation folder which is usually C-> ti -> Sensing Solutions EVM GUI 1.9.3
