FDC2114EVM: Total parasitic capacitance of PCB traces

Hello,

to setup an correct resonance frequency of the LC-Oscillator, I need to know the total parasitic capacitance of the PCB traces. In the datasheet of FDC2114 I found 4pF for the pins, but in the datasheet for FDC2114 EVm there is nothing to find about other parasitic capacitance. 

Do you know where to find those values?

    Unfortunately, we do not have the parasitic capacitance of the PCB traces. You would need to measure it if you want to know.

    In general, picking inductors with high self-resonance frequency (fsensor < 0.8 * fsr) and avoiding long traces should reduce the parasitic capacitance.

    It turns out we do have the info. The total capacitance is about 52 pF (33pF from the cap in LC tank + 15 pF from the traces + 4pf from the pin and bonding).
