DRV425EVM: Ferromagnetic Detector Deisgn

Thanks for your interest in using Texas Instruments in your design. The DRV425 detects magnetic fields and and for your detector could only be used to detect a disturbance in the magnetic field from the ferromagnetic material. The distance between your DRV425 and ferromagnetic material would be critical as to whether it would function properly. You may want to consider using a simulator to assess how close your detector would need to be to a ferromagnetic material to give a meaningful disturbance measurement.
