HDC1080 / Temperature Accuracy

Guru 14445 points

Hi,

My customer is evaluating the HDC1080 and it doesn't seems to be accurate on the temperature measurement.

Its accuracy is ±0.5℃~±1.0℃.

I' m requesting detail of the measurement data to the customer.

Could you tell me caution points to keep the accuracy if it has?

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Dear Kuramochi-san,
Could you please let us know how your customer is evaluating the accuracy of the HDC1080 temperature sensor?
The error they are seeing could be related to their specific application.
Please forward to us the detail of their measurement data, as soon as you have them from your customer.
If you look to the Figure 3 page 7 in the datasheet, there is a minimum in the temperature sensor accuracy at 34deg C that is the temperature sensor calibration point.
Let me know if this replies to your question.
    Best regards,
    Carmine

    Carmine,

I have a similar situation from one of my customers.

    1. What have you concluded with this evaluation?

    2. Do we have test data over time and temperature that we can share with customer?
