HDC1080: Heater function

Hi,

The datasheet says that "the heater is an integrated resistive element that can be used to test the sensor".

If we want to test the sensor, how should we use the heater function?

    Hi Kuramochi-san,

    If you switch on the heater, you can see that the temperature output will increase of 1 or 2 degree C, and the relative humidity will decrease of about 5 to 10% of its current value.

    This can be used as self test for understand if the device is working or not.
