HDC1080: spec after washing and usable no-clean solder flux

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering HDC1080 and has a question.

He'd like to know the influence of washing.

Could you please advise?

---question---

(1) According to the datasheet P.18 (9.3.1 Soldering) , it is recommended no-clean solder to use.

If the board wash after soldering, what is possible influence?

Is RH offset considerable?

(2)Is it possible to use no-clean solder flux without wash?

Hi Schinichi,
The water-wash process doesn't affect the performance of HDC1080.
The only side effect is a small offset in the humidity value immediately after the end of the wash process, but this offset is gradually recovered as soon as the board dries.
