HDC1080: Humidity Measurement Error [Going up to +6%]

Part Number: HDC1080

I am using HDC1080 temperature and humidity sensor for one of my product.

we are getting good accuracy on temperature measurement. However we have problem with humidity measurement accuracy. We are using certified and calibrate Humidity test chambers to perform Humidity accuracy test.

We are observing that the Humidity errors are going up to +6%. The heater Bit is Off. The test condition is between 10% to 85% RH. More error in 60RH range.

Our use case would be 10% to 80% RH, controlled environment.

Can any one suggest us if we need to use Heater Bit to Turn ON to get better accuracy? I have ensured that the design is as per application note and given enough isolation from heat, power consumption etc sources. We have also ensure the production assembly is taken care and no liquid or any such is used on Chip. it is take care well in production assembly.

How can we bring the Humidity to be within +/- 2% range.

Appreciated for your quick response. we are holding the production.
