HDC2010EVM: About the data format between EVM(USB) and PC

Hello,

 

Regarding to HDC2010 EVM, my customer is asking some question.

To evolution, they will design with EVM + their original PC application (for example EXCEL macro).

Sensing Solutions EVM GUI is not used.

(I’m not sure reason why they won’t design with micro-processor(I2C).)

 

(Question)

･ To build their original PC application, they need following information between EVM(USB) and PC.

(It is not data register in HDC2010.)

a) Data format (Temperature and humidity)

b) Data order (Temperature and humidity)

Can you provide these information for them?

Or do you have a source code of firmware of HDC2010 EVM?

    Hi Tao,
    There is FW example in the HDC2010 GUI, once it is installed, look for the subfolder named "EVM Firmware".This example should help your customer.
    Please notice that the EVM is for evaluation purposes only and the only interface we support is the GUI provided by TI. Any other GUI or tool your customer will like to use wont be supported. I2C should be the right interface to use.

    I checked in HDC2010 Firmware folder but there was only hex code.

    (Source code doesn’t exist.)

    Do you have a for HDC2010?

    Also I have a source code for HDC10x0 and can we refer this code instead of HDC2010 source code ?

    The HDC10x0 source code is not compatible with the HDC2010. We are in the process of releasing a new GUI and include the right source code for the HDC2010 device. Will keep you posted.
