HDC1080: Heater function

Part Number: HDC1080
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HDC2010

Hi Team,

I am thinking which HDC series to be proposed for the customer.

Is the heater function of the HDC20xx the exactly same with HDC1080 series ?

If there is difference, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Saki

  • Hi Saki-san,

    In Both Devices:

The heater is an integrated resistive element that can be switched on briefly to prevent or remove any
condensation that may build at high humidity environments. Additionally the heater can be used to functionally
    check the integrated temperature sensor.

The HDC1080 datasheet specifies a peak heater current of 7.2mA (pg 5), where the HDC2010 datasheet specifies an IDD value of 90mA (pg 5).

May I know the end customer application, you can send directly to my email.  Additionally, we can follow up with any other questions pertaining to the customer offline.

    Best Regards,

    Matt

  • Thank, Matt-san,
