HDC2080EVM: there is no MSP430-driver

Hi,Expert

I buy a new HDC2080EVM, when i plug it on my PC,the EVM software shows Not Connected. I find that there is no MSP430-USB driver.

How can i slove it ? Thanks

Hi Hui,

Have you been able to install the GUI? If so, can you provide an image capture of the GUI when the device is connected? Additionally, can you navigate to the ports section in Device Manager when the device is plugged into the system? This will verify on whether or not the device is correct installed.

Can you perform the following procedure:

1. Remove connected EVM from PC
2. Right click on "MSP430-USB Example" and uninstall
3. Re-install GUI software
4. After GUI is installed, connect EVM to PC and launch GUI
5. Record results

Hi Matthew.

Result is the same,not connected.

My procedure is 2-1-3-4.

Can you provide me the MSP430-USB Example driver ? I think the question will be solved if the driver can be installed.

Hi Zhang,

I had the same issue. My solution: the installer of the GUI copied the required driver into the installation folder. You have to browse for it manually.
