Problem mit ldc 1000 with Labview

hello everybody

i don't have a connection when i try to connect the LDC1000 Gui with Labview

i don't have the possibility to select a port ( e.g COM3 )

is it possible for labview to detect the LDC1000 GUI automatically?

if not how can do to get a communication between labview and the LDC1000 GUI

please i need your help

I've done now, and it works now as far.

But the problem has now entered, I get no data relating to the inductance.

There we only plotted Rp and not L

Tsacha,

The reason you dont see Inductance plot is that your Clock is not working properly. Are you using EVM as your Hardware or a custom board? Please check the traces from the Clock to the LDC.

I using EVM as my Hardware.

How i do it to check the Traces from the Clock to the LDC?

Hello,

i have for Proximity data : 2311.4

for inductance: 19.413 uH

I think the board is properly working.

How i use the Clock in LabView

What value do you read for inductance, when using LabVIEW?

Where did you get LabVIEW program? The one we recommend comes with the GUI 1.0.4.1 (current version). It is normally located in C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments LDC1000 EVM GUI Beta\LabView

when I run the lcd1000Demo.vi, I get a 0-line in the plot diagram of the inductor.
I have the GUI 1.0.4.1.

Thank you for the screenshot, VERY useful!
Please close the GUI, power cycle the EVM, and try connecting again.
It's not good that you have tried to connect to the same port twice, and now one sessing inactive, one active.

The ldc1000 working properly with the Labview.

I have one project and wants to connect the ldc1000 to the otherprogram in Labview.
how can I make it?

Whe can i command the ldc1000, read and write or Streaming the data from ldc1000?

can you give me one List whit some commands for the USB-Port from ldc1000?

I trying to find some one but i fund anything.

I Need some ideas

hello,

1- I want to use the ldc 1000 for partial angular sensing but i not want to use the Labview demo code.

how i can do that?

2- i use the first time the ldc1000 demo.vi, i receive Data about inductance and parallel resitance.

i want to know the angle when i realize one partial angular sensing. How i can have the angle or how i calculed this?

3- i cant not save the Data with the ldc1000 Labview demo.

4- if i use labview an a new Labview code. how i do it to receive the Informations fron the ldc1000.

Hello tsacha,

1. You will need to write your own code

2. You will have to establish a relation between LDC1000 output, and the parameter you are trying to use (calibration). Then use LDC1000 output to find out your parameter during operation

3. In "Save Data" event ->Case True, there is a case structure that saves the data,. Please make Case 0 default

4. The same way as in LDC1000 Demo.

" Save data can not write in this file. Show if the file ist opened for other application or I have right to do this."
