Please let me know about two point below of LDC1314

・When magnet or speaker coil close to a sensor coil, is there a problem?

・Please let me know the movement when being Overload.

For example, threshold in Overload, movement at overload(Latch or Retly).

※LDC1000 was OSC Dead, but LDC1314 wasn't found.

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Hello Satoshi-san,

If you place a magnet near the LDC1314 sensor, the response of the LDC depends on how conductive the magnet is. Many magnets are coated in a conductive metal covering, the LDC will detect the covering.

Some soft ferrite magnets will be detected as an overall increase in the inductance of the sensor.

As for a speaker coil, the response to the speaker coil will be based on the conductive characteristics of the speaker coil.

Please clarify your question on the Overload movement.

  • Dear Chris Oberhauser-san

    Thank you for reply.

About speaker coil, I think that speaker coil depend on frequency characteristics.
When different in a frequency of LDC1314 and Speaker coil, it's no problem.
    Is it correct?

    best regards,
