Step on Rp readings of LDC1000

Smooth change in the distance between the object and the coil leads to a step change of Rp near the value 16384. Disign parameters:

coil diameter 19mm - made of 19-turn winding wire; coil capacitance: 100pF reg. settings: Rp_MAX = 0x1A; Rp_MIN = 0x3F Sen_Freq = 228 LDC_Conf = 0b00010111

The figure shows the result of measurement Rp codes (period 500us) with a smooth, almost linear, change in the distance to the target. Has anyone have met something similar?

    Can you repeat this experiment with RpMAX = x19 and x18?

    I repeated the experiment with RpMAX = x19 and x18. There is no difference from the previous one. Some additional information:

    The plateau on the prev. graph corresponds to the displacement of an object in the range 1,45...1.70mm. Its presence was verified in a variety of combinations RpMAX and RpMIN (in which the device can operate), as well as all variants of the parameter "amplitude" (bits 3, 4 reg. 04) and some variants of the parameter "Response Time" (bits 0...2 reg. 04). Moreover little inappropriate behavior is observed near some other values Rp. They are not so important for my device as an anomaly close to 16,384, but the fact of their existence makes me sad. The figures bellow show the locations of strange behavior Rp. The dependence of Rp(distance) below 12,000 is perfectly monotonic. All effects are observed both in direct and in reverse motion.

    Who knows is the LDC1101 devoid of described disadvantages of the LDC1000?
