Hello everybody,

the LDC1000 can be configured so that the INTB pin toggles whenever a new result is available, just like we expect.

It seems like this is not possible with the LDC1614. We have to read out the status register to get a short signal at the INTB pin.

Is this a bug or did we have wrong settings?

Hello Dirk,
The INTB pin on the LDC1614 can be configured to output the DRDY signal. Did you set the DRDY_2INT bit in 0x19?

Hello Ben,
yes we did and we also set up the 0x1A register to don't disable the INTB output.
The only thing that we can see is a short spike at INTB when we read out the status register.

Hello Dirk,

The LDC161x and LDC131x devices do not toggle the INTB pin when multiple DRDYB events occur (as on the LDC1000). This is a design decision. One reason why this toggle functionality is not as useful on the LDC131x/161x is because the sample interval is very well defined on the these devices, while for the LDC1000 the conversion interval is not constant.
