Inductive sensing / About counting teeth number of the gear installed vertical.

Hi all.

I would like to use the inductive sensor to count teeth number of the gear.
Your presentation show the output wave when we detect the teeth number by this device.

I understood the following 2 points.
・vertical installed a coil ⇒ pulse wave output.
・parallel installed a coil ⇒ sine wave output.

I have a question bout output wave.
If  target and coil are not fixed(minute movement),  do output wave amplitude and wave width fluctuate?
