I have an application to solve and I want to know your remarks related to the use of the LDC1612.
We have to detect if a metallic nut or bolt was dispensed in a trash can. The idea is to place a coil around the top of the trash can (the trash can diameter is 350mm) and detect when the nut or bolt passes inside the coil. On a second step we need to control the influence of the metallic objects inside the trash can in order to make an dynamic adjustment so we can detect new objects even if the trash can contains a lot of metallic pieces.
Can you give me your remarks regarding this application by using the LDC1612?
