LDC series / Temperature Compensation

Hi,

I would like to know the temperature compensation of LDC series.

I have already read the snaa212().

It is mentioned that "the ratio of the measured RP values will be temperature independent".

However this compensation can't keep linearity such as the following example.

Is there any good way to keep linearity with temperature compensation?

Hi Kuramochi-san,

is there a reason why you use RP measurements and not L measurements? RP measurement are typically only used for metal type identification; for all other applications we recommend L measurements because the tempeature is a fraction of the RP measurement tempco.

I am also working on the LDC 1614 temperature compensation. Can you give me some insight about how the temperature changes are affecting the sensor readings.

Hi Chitrang,
the temperature coefficient is dominated by the sensor capacitor; a C0G/NP0 type capacitor is recommended. I added more information in your other post.
