Hello,

I would like to use the sensing solution EVM GUI developped for the LDC1614 on a LDC1614 connected with I2C protocol to a NodeMCU connected to my laptop through USB, do you know if it is possible ( i'm programming the NodeMCU with Arduino IDE) ?

Otherwise I know that I could use another plotter but I don't have the details about how the different datas in the register are read and processed before plotting them in the sensing solution, do you know where I could find these informations to reproduce the same graphs on a different plotter ?

The GUI does include non-compiled files which detail how to communicate with the EVMs through the COM port. This file from the GUI details how to create command packets and interpret their responses: "C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.8.8\PC GUI\node_modules\SspEvmNodeJS\SSP_Protocol_Int0v4.js"

Hello Ben Kasemsadeh,

I have taken a look at the file you mention but I do not know how to use it in order to be able to use the Sensing solutions through the NodeMCU. I must also inform you that I am a complete beginner in electronic ( I have some knowledge on programming however, but not with hardware) : I don't understand what you mean by creating command packets and I cannot figure out which steps are needed to use the sensing solution.

Hello Soran,
I'm afraid we can't support porting the GUI to other platforms. Note that all the calculations for data streaming values are in the LDC1614 datasheet.

Thank you for your answer, I understand. May I ask you where exactly in the datasheet ? I've looked for such calculations but I am kind of lost in all these informations.
