LDC1101: Full scale analog quantity for LHR measurement

Part Number: LDC1101

Dear TI researchers,

I have been using LDC1101 for my research. In particular, I am using LHR mode to measure distance to a conductive target.

Suppose I set the clock to 16 MHz, and RCOUT to 0x0200. This setting gives me approximately a 2 kHz data rate and ENOB of 13 bits. (p.36 in SNOSD01C)

I would like to utilize this 13 bits over "full scale", but it is unclear to me which physical quantity determines this full scale in LDC in LHR mode. If it were ADC, this would be the input voltage range...

Could you please clarity which physical quantity is quantized over 13 bits, and how I should configure LDC (or change the sense coil) to change it?

Ultimately I would like to match this full scale quantity to the maximum travel of my conductive target.

Looking forward to your answer!

Best regards,

Minkyun
