I have question of LDCTOUCHCOMCOILEVM from user guide.

From the mention of the graph, we can see "Sensor with AI Target".

What does it mean? What is AI target?

How to get inductance of coil using coil's graphs shown in user guide?

If possible, please show me example.

Hello Na-na.

1) We generally use Aluminum targets of >5 skin depths, as Aluminum is a very effective target material. Other conductors or thicknesses will have different responses. Refer to the app-note www.ti.com/.../snoa957.pdf for more information.

2) I will look into the this. In the meantime, you can use the LDC tools calculator spreadsheet ( www.ti.com/.../slyc137 ) to estimate the inductance from the provided design.
