Hello,I want know whether there is a car on parking space with LDC1101. However, It's maximum sensing distance may be insufficient. Could you have any suggestion about improving the sensing distance or other products that can detect parking space's status?

    The sensing range for inductive sensing devices on the macro scale depends on the sensor size. Have you considered what kind of space is available for you for the sensor design?

    Do you also need to be able to detect smaller vehicles like motorcycles and other objects?

    Hello, Thank you for your prompt reply. I have tried some sensors with different size, but the sensing distance still is insufficient. In my opinion, if the sensing distance is larger than 20cm, our product will be detect the parking space's status. And we don't need to detect smaller vehicles, the target should be a car.
