We are analyzing to use LDC1612 to monitor one of our Setup position. To serve the purpose we are planning to use a Spring, based on the spring compression and expansion we need to find the position of setup. Please find the attachments.
The concern is, as per attached image "Image1" the spring compression is measured by connecting at only end of spring. But when i saw in "Image2" the compression is measured at either ends of the spring. So, is it possible to measure the spring compression by connecting the LDC terminals to only end of sensor as per "Image1"
