Sensor recommendation

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Not sure if I post at the right place. One of my customer is looking for sensor (<$10 per unit) for automation machines (high vibration and change in temperature)

 

Travel: 50 mils, +- 0.5 mils

Working temp: -40 – 150 degC

Operating voltage: 5V, or 12V

end application is wire-bonding machine, so the sensor will need to detect the 50 +/- 0.5 mils accuracy along xyz axis.

 

Can I check TI have any sensor that is suitable for this application?

    Hello KPK,

    Our inductive sensing solutions can measure movement of conductive objects, so if you want to measure the movement of the wire, then the LDC can be used. The devices we sell need customized sensors based on the application. Generally, we measure only one axis of movement per sensor; therefore an array of sensors would be needed for XYZ measurement.
