LDC1000-Q1: About LDC1000-Q1 (Used in comparator mode)

Part Number: LDC1000-Q1

Q1.
I would like to confirm the response frequency when LDC1000-Q1 is used in the comparator mode.

In case of LDC0851, "tDELAY Output delay time (Response time) = 580 us (Typ)" in Datasheet Page6 is considered as the response frequency.

In the case of LDC 1000-Q1, "tres (min) Minimum response time" in Datasheet P5 is considered as the response frequency of comparator mode.
Is it correct?

Q2.
The INTB output of the comparator mode is described in the data sheet P13 (Figure 13) of LDC1000-Q1.
I want to confirm the hysteresis of the threshold in this figure.
Could you tell me about hysteresis between Threshold High and Threshold Low?

  • Hi Noritomo-san,

No, the response time is variable. The response time is a function of the LDC configuration and the sensor frequency - equation 14 in the LDC1000Q datasheet provides an equation to calculate the response time.

The hysteresis is the difference between the programmed high and low Thresholds, which are set in registers 0x06+0x07 and 0x08+ 0x09. The INTB output is high when the output is below the Low Threshold and low when the output is above the High Threshold.

    Regards,
