  • This is an informative post.
  • Hi Vaibhav,
Thank you for the following links.
The mmWave devpack confuses me, aren't the awr1443 sufficient to work with most TI's MCU ?
    Thanks
  • In reply to Christophe Cloutier-Tremblay:

    Hi Christophe,

All of the XWRx are all designed around the MSP4x launchpad boosterpack footprint. The IWRx Boosterpack EVM can mate directly with the MSP4x launchpads.

However, to enable certain development modes, the separate mmWave devpack is required. Please see the mmWave devpack user guide for details. From the mmWave devpack Introduction chapter...

The MMWAVE-DEVPACK is an add-on board used with TIs mmwave sensor EVMs (1243BOOST, 1443BOOST, and 1642BOOST) to provide more interfaces and PC connectivity to the mmwave sensor EVM. It provides an interface for the Radar Studio tool to configure the Radar device and capture the raw ADC data using a capture card, such as the TSW1400.

Please let us know if this answers your question on this topic.

  • Sorry if this is the wrong place but are there any supply issues with the IWR1443BOOST? I ordered a few days ago and it's still "In Work at Fulfillment" with an estimated shipping date 08/30/2017. Is it really not shipping before end of August?

Just want to be able plan my coming work accordingly. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
  • In reply to Jose Marcelino:

    Hi Jose,
It shouldn't be that long. Where are you trying to ship it to?

    Regards,
    Vaibhav
  • In reply to Vaibhav Mahimkar:

Thanks, just trying to have it shipped to me here in the UK.
  • In reply to Jose Marcelino:

    Hi Jose,

As Vaibhav mentioned we do have inventory and can ship sooner than August.  Can you please send me an email with your sales/purchasing order number so I can look into this specific order?  aaginskiy@ti.com

    Thanks,

    --Artem
