AWR1642BOOST: Is there a way to control the transmission power?

As the title, is there a way to control the transmission power of antennas? Is the transmission power always fixed. What is the "Tx output power back-off code for tx antennas" configuration used for? What is the difference between it and the "txOutPower" configuration in "contModeCfg"? Many Thanks.

Hello Jerry,
The "TX output power back-off code" can be used to reduce the TX output power. A value of '0' corresponds to max output power, any any integer value reduces the TX power by that many dB. For example a value of '5' would reduce the TX output power by 5dB. You can reduce the TX power by as much as 24dB , in steps of 1dB.

Hello Jerry,
From the device perspective the highest transmit power is got by setting the TX output power back off to '0'.
Beyond that you can increase the transmit power by having a higher gain antenna.
