AWR1443: Vital design demo can not find port

I am trying to do demo of vital design. The guide what I follow is hereVital_Signs_Lab_User_Guide_v1.1.pdf

And when I do the step 5.4 Running GUI - continued, setting the port. It can not cahnged the port number. And the console window will show the error as below.

My question is how can I change the port number? It doesn't work on setting button.

And I wonder my chip is ES.1 or ES.2, here is the information on my chip. Thank you.

Hello Wendy,

Can you post a picture of the COM ports in you device manager?

It looks like an issue with connecting through the serial port.

Here is the port on device manager, and I try to changed the port on setting of GUI,but it doesn't save my changed and still show the wrong port. Thank you.

It looks like you have the ports reversed on the Vital Signs GUI.

UART should be port 3 and Data should be port 4.

Hello Wendy,

You are not able to change it through the 'Settings' button?

It should allow you to manually type in the COM ports and press 'Ok.' What happens if you type 4 in the Data Port and 3 in the UART Port and press the Ok button?

I type in the COM ports and press "Ok", but it doesn't change it, when I do it again, it return the wrong COM ports. Thank you.

I think it is set to display a certain set of COM ports upon opening the settings. After you change it, do not open the settings and it should stay set to what you changed it to. As soon as you open it, it will display the default values which will revert the settings you had input before. Set the settings and try running the demo without opening the settings after you have changed them and see if it works.

Thank you for answer, I finally figure out why I can not demo Vial Sign. Because my chip is ES.1. It can not run mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05 so it also can not run Vial Design. Thank you.
