Hi,

I would like to know the output Q format of the 2D FFT that is being called/used in mmWave Demo using AWR1642.

By the comments and function call of FFT, I am able to know the input Q format. But there is no information regarding the output Q format.

Can anyone help me on this?

    The link you provided and the sub-link in that page talks about the Q format of the point cloud of the detected points.

    I am interested in the 2d FFT output (variable name: fftOut2D). I am modifying the demo code provided by TI. I am trying to use other algorithms for DoA and Thresholding. Hence I will be keeping the process pipeline till 2D FFT only. For this case, I would like to know the Q format for the data at the 2D FFT output point.

    We would like to know whether the output format will be 16.16 or something else?
