Hi every one,

My team wants to do some researches for mmwave, can you suggest me some products ?

Can you give me some name of boards have interesting examples ?

We also want to connect between 2 boards in mmwave's frequency and it is better when attached with demonstration examples, which boards should I buy?

Hi Minh,

I would recommend either the IWR1443BOOST or the IWR1642BOOST. The 1443 has an integrated Hardware Accelerator for doing FFT's and the 1642 has an integrated DSP which will enable things like object classification. The 1443 is a good starting point for most but if you think you'll need the DSP down the road then the 1642 is going to be your best bet.

Thanks, I wonder about that : "Can I connect 2 boards using the same mmwave's frequency ?" if I use AWR1642BOOTS ? I want to reseach the transmission between 2 antenna using mmwave's frequency under the different kinds of channel ?

Hi Minh,

Can you please provide some idea about your application? Please note that these devices (xWR1443, xWR1642) are designed and targeted at mmWave Radar only and cannot be used for data communication applications.
