AWR1443: AWR1443 boot error

Hello Yang,

Are you trying to flash the binary image to the AWR1443?

To flash to the device , you can use the UNIFLASH tool and set the SOP mode to Flash mode ( 101). You can flash the CCS debug image(xwr14xx_ccsdebug_mss) to the device which is available in the MMWAVE-SDK in following path $mmwave_sdk_01_01_00_02\packages\ti\utils\ccsdebug.

Please let us know if you face any issue with the flashing of the CCS debug binaries.

             I have finished flashing the AWR1443 ,and  power up the awr 1443 device in function mode ，the serial port printf information show that sensor start error.

         when i debug the program in ccs step by step ，it return  retval=-1,as is shown in  the following picture .what is the root cause?

Hello Yang,

If you are just running the capture demo as mentioned in the user guide without any new modification to the existing code , there is no reason to get these errors.

Have you done any modifications to the existing code ?

Sorry to hear you are still facing the issue.
The SDK demo code is being used for long now and have not seen such an issue with the demo code.
You are sure that the flashing is successful on the device ? Also can you just send us a picture of the setup /evm focusing on the SOP lines?

            I have two pieces of  awr1443 boost  demo board   ，and both have the same problem.after flashing the flash and setting the mode as function mode ，then power up the board ,then error indicating led is light.and the board i develoged  also has the same problem .
