AWR1243: Seeking the information of car-class DSP products working with AWR1243

 Hi,

        I want to use AWR1243 + external DSP chip to do some design, but i do not know how to choose the car-level DSP.   If TI has car-class DSP products and development programs working with AWR1243 ? If yes, please give me some information on DSP and development programs.

    Hi Jason,

    I'd highly recommend AWR1642 for your application since this chip has an integrated DSP. There primary solution that TI would advocate for DSP usage is the AWR1642.

    Thanks for your reply! Since I want to design a long range radar (LRR) or middle range radar (MRR) , so i choose AWR1243 as the Radar front chip. And I am looking for a DSP chip that can be used with the AWR1243. Such as C674x DSP in AWR1642, does C674x DSP can be used with AWR1243 or other DSP chip like C66x DSP? Can you give some suggestions of design?
