IWR1443BOOST: QSPI used in IWR1443 boost obsolete?

The QSPI S25FL116K0XNFV010 is used in IWR1443Boost, this part is obsolete by the manufacture, what is the new replacement for this part? Could you provide the part number?

The following Flash ICs are supported according to TI:

Spansion S25FL256S
Spansion S25FL132K0XNFB010
Macronix MX25L3233F
Macronix MX25R1635FZNIH0 (Wide voltage part variant)

I can confirm that Macronix MX25L3233F works perfectly with the IWR1443BOOST.

Hello Feng there are several flash part numbers, one of the concerns is functional compatibility, the other being that larger flash, has larger power consumption.
IWR1443 Errata swrz074a - MSS #15

S25FL132K0XNFB010 - NRND - 42wk lead time
S25FL256S - check package for your layout -
MX25L3233F - 20 week lead time
MX25R1635FZNIH0 -

note the direct Cypress replacement, is not recommended until it is tested on IWR1443 ES3 silicon. The MSS boot rom has specific requirements to read the QSPI flash.

Hi Koos,
I did see these information, but Spansion S25FL132K0XNFB010 and Macronix MX25R1635FZNIH0 also are end of life parts, they can not be used.

Spansion S25FL256S do not give the package information, it is not a real part. Can we use S25FL256SAGNF1003? Please verify this!

I guess that one should work. Note that the part number is S25FL256SAGNFI003, with a capital i.

You could use this tool to see if there is a similar IC with better availability. The differences are mainly automotive qualification and temperature range.
