Hi ：

  Now ,I  am using the OPT8241EVM , and we want to use the OPT8241EVM soution to develop our product  which can measure  the volume of the box which used in the transport and logistics widely.  

my questions are that:

1:What are furthest distance and bigest volume and what is accuracy of measurement ?

2:if we increase the laser power and kaizen the lens systmem, the capability of  measuring distance can improve than the EVM?

    Hi James,

    The OPT8241-EVM is specified for 4m range and the lens has an 87 degree diagonal FoV. Our depth resolution is around 1% at this distance.
    Accuracy of measurement can be improved with calibration.

    If you increase the laser power and optical systems, the measuring distance can be improved.
