Dear All,

We already have and use the OPT8241 3D Evaluation Module, and it works well.

Can we order the Illumination Board (with IR lasers, diffusers etc.) separately? We would need it without the sensor board.

    Hi,

    We do not currently provide the illumination boards separately.

    Our CM for these EVMs is Krypton Solutions, in Plano, TX. You could try reaching out to them if they can build these for you separately.

    Thanks for your infos! I'm in contact with Bhupendra Sachani from Krypton Solution. They need permission from TI, that they could produce/ship illumination board for us.

    Could you please send me contact who could issue this permisson from TI?

    Hi,

    We cannot provide this permission - we only allow the complete CDK EVM to be sold as is.

    But you could modify the design files for the IB to remove the TI logo and markings (and any electrical changes you like) and take it to Krypton as a new PCB job.
