Hi TI experts,

I am using the EVM as a usb slave, and the tiva C luanchpad as a usb host. But the enumeration cannot be established.

Can you please let me know, how I should I treat the EVM board as? I mean, it works as : mass storage, or human interface device, or audio device, etc?

By the way, the EVM can work with PC, via USB and customized matlab GUI.

Hi Jackie,

EVM is configured to be detected by the PC as USB CDC class.
If you are interested only in AFE490 of the EVM you can interface your MCU with it using SPI interface.
You can use the EVM with your GUI as long as you follow the protocol as defined in " Message Communication Protocol.pdf". This document comes along with the source code of EVM's firmware.

As per using the SPI interface of the AFE4490 on the EVM board, can you please let me know how to do it in detail? It seems that the pins of the AFE are very close to each other other and small.

Hi Jackie,

There are series 0 Ohms resistors between AFE4490 and the MCU. So you can remove those resistors and connect the signals from your MCU to the pads which connects to AFE4490.
For the MCU to be detected as mass storage, the firmware of the EVM's MCU has to be changed.
