i want to make fingerprint scanner using opt8241.

so i want know minimum distance to opt8241 from finger.

also, i want know depth resolution when the minimum distance.

    Hello, fingerprint scanning technology has been around a while now. Is there a particular feature you wishing to achieve beyond what is already available? 3D-TOF sensors generally do not have the depth accuracy (ten's of microns) required to detect fingerprint ridges. Traditional method has been based on digital photography with image processing.
